Super-strong magnetic stirring bars KOMET

Thanks to the use of high-energy magnetic materials, the KOMET series offers a lot more magnetic power than conventional ALNICO stirring bars of comparable length, extending the range of possible uses for all magnetic stirrers using stirring bars.

KOMET stirring bars transmit torque loads 2 to 3 times larger than those of conventional stirring bars of this length. Efficiency is thus improved significantly.

In particular the VARIOMAG Magnetic Stirrers, suitable for low-power operation and therefore very energy-efficient, are endowed with unexpected power. You can stir more viscous media and iquids with a highersolid content while obtaining a high speed. The stirring force will be maintained even at greater distances. The stability of the stirring bars will not be impaired if the vessel has a curved bottom.

KOMET stirring bars allow magnetic stirrers to be used for applications heretofore unimaginable. Any risk of demagnetization by external magnetic fields is completely eliminated. Moreover, all stirring bars are fully sterilizable.

OCTAGONAL STIRRING BARS

Extra strength, TEFLON* stirring bars molded with ALNICO-V magnets, permanently coated with white PTFE. Inert to almost all chemical reagents and can be used up to 250°C. Excellent electrical properties, good thermal stability, and very low static and dynamic co-efficients of friction.
