Since 1981, the patented motorless electronic magnetic stirring systems
VARIOMAG have been setting new standards in
magnetic stirring technology.

By contrast with conventional magnetic stirrers, VARIOMAG stirrers
use fixed coils through which a variable current flows and generates an
electromagnetic field causing the magnetic stirring bar to rotate.
This design allows the stirring drives to be ultra-flat and wear-free,
making it possible to integrate multiple stirring positions
in a single stirring plate, so that mass screening can be performed
under exactly identical conditions.
