The heatable magnetic stirrer, designed along the lines of the tried and tested VARIOMAG principle, allows defined stirring, energy saving heating to +300 degrees C, and accurate temperature conditioning in a single operation.

The stirring drive is motorless, and therefore wear-free, and is sealed in a closed aluminum housing, together with the fully automatic control unit. The stirrer can be supplied in various attractive colours. Next to a standard neutral colour, there is a choice of mint, green, or trendy pink.

MONOTHERM

This heatable magnetic stirrer, at a height of only 60 mm, is of a truly superflat design. It is tailor-made for daily laboratory routines and reliable stirring of volumes up to 3 liters. The rotation speed can be continuously adjusted on a clear and well arranged control panel, and will remain constant, even when the viscosity of the stirred medium changes. The electronics regulate the temperature, while continuously controlling the calorific output from 10% when the plate is set to a low temperature, to 100% from a set temperature above 250 degrees C. This allows accurate adjustment of the heating plate throughout the entire temperature range, and overshooting of the medium temperature is prevented. The heating plate, which is closed and fully insulated at the bottom, saves energy - especially during continuous operation. The housing has two M 10 threads, into which support rods can be mounted.

Superstrong stirring KOMET

If the stirring bars KOMET are used, even more viscous media can be stirred and higher rotation speeds will be achieved. Furthermore the stability of these stirring rods will not be impaired if the vessel has a curved bottom. KOMET stirring bars are made of high-energetic magnetic material which provides the stirring bars with unexpected power. The operation field of all stirrers using a stirring rod is enhanced dramatically.
