Magnetic stirrers and
multiple magnetic stirrers for small to medium stirring volumes

Directly controlled VARIOMAG magnetic stirrers are available in various forms for immediate use at the work bench and in incubators. There are magnetic stirrers with one stirring point and multiple magnetic stirrers for small to medium stirring volumes. All the units, including the electrical control, are hermetically encapsulated in a synthetic material. There are plug-in power supply units with a nominal rating of 7 watts for standard versions, and bench power supply units with a nominal rating of 20 watts for the stronger P versions, depending on the stirring requirements.

COMPACT HP1

Rugged, handy single magnetic stirrer which is extra flat, fully maintenance-free and encapsulated in a stainless steel housing. Can be used even with high air humidity and in aggressive vapours. The preselected rotary speed remains constant even if the viscosity of the liquid stirred changes. If the power supply unit is used with a preselectable stirring power, the power output and hence the amount of heat liberated can be set to minimum levels. This is particularly important when the stirrer is used in incubators.

COMPACT HP 1

MAXI HP 1 P

Similar to the COMPACT HP 1 in construction and operation, but with a larger standing surface and a stronger and more extensive magnetic field. Ideally suited to stirring volumes of up to 4 liters in larger vessels. If the elliptical magnetic stirring rod is used (19 mm diameter, 75 mm long) even liquids which are difficult to mix can to stirred, e.g. samples which tend to form a sediment. Not suitable for use in incubators.
