BOD STIRRING SYSTEM HP 6

Extremely flat stirring system with 6 stirring points for stirring liquids in standardised BOD5 flasks or in DIN-threaded laboratory flasks (500 ml). The stirring drive is controlled by the fixed-speed BOD-MODUL remote control unit and is particularly well-suited for stirring inside refrigerators or incubators, as no liquid can enter the inside of the device. The stirring drive may even be cleaned under running tap water. A test tube rack is included; thus, all vessels may be removed from the stirring plate at once while the plate remains in place (e.g. in the refrigerator). The soft start feature ensures a quiet and uniform start of movement of he stirring bars when the stirring system is powered up. Thespeed is reduced to 50% every 40 seconds so that each stirring bar is centred in themiddle of the flask for a few seconds, making it possible to swap flasks while stirring continues.
